NOTES:
Kipp dedicated this work to his friend Baro in 1964. Baro served as director of the Corcoran Gallery and the Carnegie Museum and curated the prestigious Carnegie International Exhibition in Pittsburgh. He was also consulting curator of prints and drawings at the Brooklyn Museum and contributed essays to many exhibition catalogues and catalogue raisonn?s throughout his career.
